Farm & Forest Foray
Concord
What to Expect:
This ride follows US-2 for a short section where speeds are low and there is a shoulder. Cyclists should take care while on the highway. Once on the gravel roads, the ride features beautiful views across farms to the White Mountains to the east as well as beautiful shaded roads through the forest. There is relatively less climbing than the other routes.

Visit a classic Vermont gas station with all the extras, eat at a family-friendly restaurant or stay overnight at one of the town’s campgrounds. Step away from the Route 2 corridor to enjoy quiet back roads and take a dip (or the chance to fish) in the stunningly beautiful Shadow Lake or Miles Pond.
